Hi I'm Jamie

I was born and raised in Texas. I'm in college. I'm about to leave on a church mission to Oregon. I write music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love volleyball, theatre, playing the piano, singing, and most of all writing music. I have a very large family which I love very much and am currently in college studying to be a physical therapist assistant with a focus on geriatrics. I also love children like crazy! I have worked full-time at a pre-kindergarten school, as a full-time nanny multiple times and as a babysitter. I'm gluten intolorent and allergic to cats, sadly. But life is good.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know with all my heart and soul that the teachings in this church are completely and perfectly true and correct. "I know it. I live it. I love it." I am a Mormon because being one makes me a better person every day. It brings me closer to Christ and to my Father in heaven. And it gives me the wonderful opportunity to live with them again someday and to live with my family for eternity. This church is everything I am and everything I want to become. It is true.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith like Christ did, with all of my heart, might, mind, and strength. I have had so many wonderful opportunities to serve in my church. I have been a youth president, counselor, and secretary. I have also been a music chorister and a visiting teacher supervisor. Visiting teaching is a program where everyone is assigned to others in the church to teach, visit, and love. I am so blessed and grateful for the chance to serve like Jesus served.
