Hi I'm Larry Sanders

I'm serving a full time mission with my wife for our Heavenly Father in Ghana, Africa. Loving these wonderful people I'm a Mormon

About Me

After an amazing life time of pursuing careers, we are living a dream come true - Serving a full time mission as a senior couple for our Heavenly Father in Ghana, Africa. We are medical missionaries and enjoy using our many years of medical training to assist with medical needs. My wife is a Registered Nurse and I am a Fire Fighter/EMT. The world has so many needs for help and we are glad that we help in many small ways to see miracles happen. Yes, it's difficult to leave home, family and friends and all the comforts of home to serve but the opportunity to make a difference in the world is amazing. Serving is not always easy with many trying experiences occurring but there is a reason for everything and someday we will learn why....... Giving freely is truly what makes one aline with our Heavenly Father and we can't imagine any better way than what we are doing.

Why I am a Mormon

I always admired my parents who were strong in their faith of Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and His Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Thru this admiration I was encouraged to find for myself the important things in life. The utmost thing I have learned is that I have a Father in Heaven who loves and cares about me. I can completely rely on Him for everything. The next important thing I have learned is that I have a Elder Brother named Jesus Christ who has given all for me. All I have to do is believe and do what He asks. I can live with them again. Thru this belief, it is a given to understand the importance of Eternal families and that I am part of one. What a privilege to understand these simple but life changing principals. Knock and it shall be given. Thank you!!

How I live my faith

In addition to a lifetime of community service in the medical field, we both have been members of this wonderful church for many years. Having opportunities to serve and learn as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has directed our lives as we raised 5 children who are now married to wonderful spouses and enjoy the challenge of raising children themselves. We have served in many capacities in the church and have grown with each of them. Perhaps the best thing we have learned is to love people regardless of their background, culture, ethnicity or status. Hopefully some day we all will learn to love unconditionally like the Savior and enjoy His companionship each and every day.
