Hi I'm Bernice N. Neibaur Nalder

I was born a Mormon thanks to wonderful pioneer ancestors, parents, & grandparents. I love this gospel with all my heart.

About Me

I am a mother of 6 children & grandmother of 20. I have the greatest husband anyone could have. I love my family dearly, above all earthly treasures. I have a masters degree in nutrition & food science. I love to cook, garden, knit & crochet, organize, but most of all help others & especially play & share with my sweet grand kids. I lost 3 full term babies which was a trial in my life that helped me grow stronger. I recently went through two back surgeries & am working to overcome the pain & trial this has brought, knowing the Lord will be my strength through this & all my trials if I will turn to him.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon thanks to the wonderful pioneer ancestors, parents, & grandparents I had. As a young child I believed because of the great love they had for the gospel, but as I have grown & studied the scriptures & doctrines, & words of the living prophets, along with much fasting & prayer, I have come to know for myself without a doubt that it is God's true church on the earth today. The Lord & my Savior have helped me through every phase of my life. They have brought peace & understanding in times of trial & they have brought so much joy into my life as I strive to live their teachings. Without this gospel, life would have no meaning. I want to follow our living prophet & the examples in the scriptures that I may someday be able to live with my Savior & Heavenly Father again & have my entire family with me in the eternities.

How I live my faith

I have always loved serving my community & church. I taught Cub Scouts for 26 years & earned my Silver Beaver. The enthusiasm of these young boys is so inspiring. As a group we did many service projects for our community & learned a love for the outdoors, & all the creations of the Lord. I have also taught children & adults about the savior & the gospel of Jesus Christ. My favorite teaching position was teaching gospel music to the children. A few years ago my husband & I served as missionaries in Nauvoo, Illinois. It was an exceptional experience telling visitors of our pioneer heritage. We will soon be leaving for a second mission as soon as my back heals sufficiently from my surgery I just had 3 weeks ago.
