Hi I'm Sister Bailie Sackett

I am currently serving a mission in West Virginia, I love sports, my family, and serving our Lord! I am a Mormon!

About Me

I love sports, I played golf and basketball in high school. My senior year golf season I made it to state 5A girls golf, where I was able to place in the top 10. I have coached junior high girls basketball for 3 years now, and I love coaching. I am going to college to become a U.S. History Major, I want to teach and coach at the junior high level. I am the youngest of 3, and I have two adorable nephews that I love very much! I love to play with them and help teach them about this wonderful gospel. I have grown up in the LDS church my whole life, and it is the biggest blessing in my life! I love it so much that I wanted to be able to share it with others so I decided to go on a mission. I am called to serve in the West Virginia Charleston Mission! Being a missionary is an amazing opportunity!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this church, and as I grew older I came to know for myself that it is the true church. I came to know this by reading the Book of Mormon, following the commandments of God and the prophets of our day. I came to gain a testimony about certain principles (such as paying tithing, keeping the Sabbath day holy, etc.) by living them. I know that Heavenly Father is real, and that He loves every single person. I know that Jesus Christ suffered for everything that we have, are, and will go through! He loves us more than we could ever imagine or know! I know that this is Jesus Christ's church again established on the earth. I know that Jesus Christ lived, and still lives because He was resurrected. This church has provided me with true happiness that I could not receive anywhere else, and blessings that are immeasurable. Some people say that it is hard to be a member of the church, but to be honest great things require you to work. No one becomes the best at what they are without hard work, and I know that we are blessed by working hard to become like our Savior, Jesus Christ, and that we are always blessed for our works. This Church is true, and Heavenly Father loves everyone.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in West Virginia where I get to serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ all day everyday! Being a missionary is such a blessing, because I am a representative of Jesus Christ. I am called to bring others unto Christ and help them receive His gospel. This gospel can change lives and I see joy come to myself and many others daily as we live how our Savior wants us to live. I love sharing messages about our Savior to all I meet, it is amazing!
