Hi I'm James Elsmore

I believe in Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born the youngest of four, son to kind and patient parents that met while serving Missions in Japan. I have been blessed to have the gospel in my life since the beginning. I am a figure skater, ice dancer, amateur cyclist, and boy scout. I like to get away from the world, sit on the top of mountains, program in swift, and listen to Jazz and bebop.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe in modern revelation. I know that there is a true prophet on the earth that is called by God to guide and direct us. I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is on the earth today. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith translated it with the direction of our Heavenly Father. I know that God is just that, a loving Father. That's why I'm a Mormon, because I know that my loving Heavenly Father has a plan for me.

How I live my faith

I attend seminary classes in the mornings before the start of the day. I really love seminary because I can have a good start to the day. I also have a really nice teacher who prepares every lesson on top of her job. I love to go to church, sing hymns, and listen to spiritual messages. I love to talk to anyone about what they believe in, and I am often asked what I believe to be true. Also in May of 2016, I'll be serving a 2 year mission in the Tokyo South Mission.
