Hi I'm Hunter Hartman

I'm Hunter Hartman. I grew up in Encinitas, CA and now reside in Ladera Ranch, CA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Hunter Hartman from Ladera Ranch, California. I enjoy being a husband, father, son and friend. I have been blessed with so much in my life and have God to thank for all of it. While I have had my own struggles and difficulties I would say one of my greatest gifts is my testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ and his gospel. It brings so much hope and peace into my life and allows me to see the bigger picture. My hobbies include Family, Religion, Golf, Sports, Learning, Reading, Movies, Numbers, Sales, the beach and ocean, finding out about others, and service.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is a part of my identity. I was raised in the church and both of my parents were raised LDS. But the reason I'm a Mormon isn't because I was raised this way or because my parents are Mormon but rather because I have a strong personal testimony of the doctrine of the LDS faith. Through the struggles that come through mortality, I have seen the power of the atonement and it has greatly strengthened faith in the Savior Jesus Christ and in his gospel. I have developed my own testimony through spiritual experiences and a comfort and peace that to me represents a spiritual confirmation of truth, I have ancestors on both sides of my family that were LDS pioneers. I know their stories and they're inspiring but they're also filled with tremendous heartache and pain. Through pain and trials, like my ancestors before me, my faith has grown immensely. I feel that one of my spiritual gifts is my faith but like all things in the gospel, faith through work can be acquired. I choose everyday to be a Mormon because I can feel it in my heart and soul that the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as taught through the Bible and the Book of Mormon, make me a better person and make me happy. I have had difficult times in my life, times that have caused me to wonder if I can continue and survive. Each time I have had these experiences, I have learned to lean on my faith in my Savior Jesus Christ. He has been there, he has felt every prain the world has to offer. The relationship I have built with my Savior as I have read scriptures, listened to modern day Prophets/Apostles and sought personal revelation has changed my life. The peace that comes from living the gospel is what makes it all worth it. While our Heavenly Father may not always give us what we want, when we want it, he is mindful of our needs and will answer our prayers in ways that are unmistakeable. My name is Hunter Hartman and these are the the reasons I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I serve in my congregation by teaching Gospel Principles, teaching in Elders Quorum and serving in missionary work. I have worked with the youth in the past as well as in leadership rules amongst the priesthood. I try to be a faithful follower of Christ daily by helping my fellowman. I believe we all go through trials and tribulations that make us stronger and bring us closer to our Savior as we feel the difficulties and mortal pains of this world. I cling to the trials and tribulation in this world are mandatory but misery is optional. We have the CHOICE, regardless of the difficulties, to choose to be miserable or to find the best the world has to offer. There have been times in my life where it would be easy to walk away from my faith in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to blame and to be bitter but really the only one that would truly affect is myself. True happiness and joy in this life come through family, relationships, service and charity. I have seen this first hand. The things of the world are smoke and mirrors and a tool of the adversary to draw us in and make us miserable as he is. I have been drawn in and seen his power in the ways of the world and I can attest that these things do not bring happiness or joy. I try to live a Christ-like life on a daily basis but as a mortal I will fall everyday. I am thankful for repentance and for the sacrifice and atonement of Jesus Christ.
