Hi I'm Aaron Ashton

I was born in Arizona. Raised in California. Live in Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in 1996 and graduated high school in 2014. I loved high school and was involved in leadership and engineering. I am a huge nerd and love film making! If I could live anywhere else I would live in Middle Earth. In high school I was prom king. In the future I wan't to become a teacher. I am a "last" Minute Eagle scout.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have faith in Jesus Christ and in the atonement. I believe in the teachings of the prophets and strive to live my life in accordance with the teachings of the gospel. I believe in the restoration of the gospel through Joesph smith and in the power of the priesthood. Being a Mormon means constantly striving to follow in heavenly fathers footsteps and being an example to those around you. You may not be perfect, and being a Mormon does not mean in any way that I am perfect. But with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ's help and example we can strive to be Perfect. Matthew 5:48

How I live my faith

Church has been a huge part of my life, all my life. I am involved in the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints through the youth in the church. I am about to leave on a two year mission for the church on June 3rd 2015. I will be serving in the Chile Santiago North mission and speak the Spanish language. I am excited to serve and hope to be ready when the time comes!

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Aaron Ashton
I assume this question is in regards to the churches service to others. But as a church we believe in serving all of god's children and that includes non-members. Underneath is a link to the Mormon Helping hands. Personally I have participated in numerous projects in my community including restoring parks in need of repair. As an LDS community we do help each other quite a bit, but that does not replace nor hinder us helping others. http://www.mormonnewsroom.org/article/helping-hands Show more Show less
