Hi I'm Justin

I grew up in America. I love sharing the gospel and being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outdoors and seeing the world. I love spending time with my family and going on adventures. I am a huge fan of Lord of the Rings. I am about to go on my mission to Honduras and couldn't be more excited! I love the gospel and the joy it brings into life!

Why I am a Mormon

I first became a Mormon because of my family. I was born and raised a Mormon and I mostly relied on them. However, I have come to learn the truth for myself. Many little experiences helped me to come to know it, not just one big one. I have seen my prayers answered and the joy that comes from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. Even though I haven't actually seen Him, I have seen His hand in countless people's lives and felt His love for everyone time and time again. I have felt His spirit through the Holy Ghost and I absolutely love the joy and peace it brings and I know that all can feel it. I know Christ lived, atoned for our sins, felt our pains, died for us, and rose again on the third day. I know He wants to be in our lives and help us out so much more than we know. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith and that through him they restored their gospel on the Earth once again. My testimony is everything to me and will be forever. I love my God and am so grateful for all He has done and continues to do, not only for me but for everyone who has ever lived.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by giving everything I have to the Lord for two years while on my mission. I try to teach and love as He did. I love bearing my testimony and standing up for the truth. Before my mission I was a primary teacher and I absolutely loved it! I love being with children and the light they have about them.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The Atonement of Jesus Christ is his suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross. God wants all of us to return to Him, but no unclean thing can enter His presence. We all sin and are therefore unclean. Christ took our sins upon Him and suffered the consequences so that we won't have to and so we can make it back to God. He not only suffered for our sins, but also felt our sicknesses, our weaknesses, our temptations, and everything we would feel so that He would know for Himself how to show us the mercy that we all dearly need. It is important to remember how much suffering He went through for us. The Bible says that he sweat great drops of blood because of the pain He felt. He went through all of it because of His love and He wants us to be clean and feel the joy that comes from keeping the commandments. Show more Show less
