Hi I'm Nate Keele

I grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah. I am a high school student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have almost graduated from high school. I have been on my school's Student Council for the past 5 years. I am very active in going to school events like basketball games, football games, drill competition, musicals, plays, volleyball games. I have also been involved with some of those activities in my school career. I have been in the musicals, plays, i ran cross country, male drill team and other activities like that. I enjoy playing just about every sport, my favorite is definitely basketball. I love everything about it, playing and watching. I want to be a basketball coach when i grow up. I am planning on going to college, but i have not made my final decision on which one to attend. It is between Snow college and Utah State University.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because i have felt the blessing of Jesus Christ's atonement in my life. I have made many mistakes in my life that have cause me to feel grief and sorrow, but it is awesome to know that i can repent of these sins and know that God doesn't even remember that they happened. I love the feeling of repenting, because it is like taking off a weighted vest. It feels so good to not have the burden of carrying around that sin anymore because Jesus Christ has already suffered and died for us. Another thing that I love about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is that the whole point to our mortal life is to be happy. God and Jesus Christ have made a plan so that every single person who has come to this earth and who will come to this earth can be happy in the end. Every person on the face of earth has the chance to go to the Celestial kingdom. That is the best part to me. Knowing that God wants everyone to be happy, he doesn't do things to hurt us, he gives us trials so that we can grow spiritually, emotionally, and physically. God is doing everything in his power to help us become the best self. He loves everyone and knows us by name. I have felt his love in my life, even when i make a mistake, I know that he is watching me and sending me his love through the Holy Spirit.

How I live my faith

I have done many service projects that my ward has put on. From cleaning the inside of the church building to doing a whole neighborhood clean up doing yard work that was needed to be done. I have done many youth activities with the other youth in my ward. We have a weekly get-together type of thing where we play some sort of game, but also learn more about our religion while doing it.
