Hi I'm Richard

I grew up in Midway, Utah. I have 8 siblings. I love people. I love hard-work. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Me? I'm a Senior in High School looking forward to what this big world has to offer me. I love to backpack, camp, hike, scuba dive, you name it. I love good music, good friends, and good food. I have a passion for entrepreneurship and ideas. I want to leave this world better than I found it. I want to have a meaningful impact that will do good for all people. Any time of any day, i'm up for a dose of inspiration be it music, quotes, or videos.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the happiness this Gospel brings into my life. I was born into my family as a Mormon, but I truly believe my conversion has come through following the commandments of God, reading my scriptures, praying, and serving. The fruits of this gospel are so sweet. My life has been so blessed in so many different ways. By following Christ in his restored church, I have found peace, meaning, joy, and happiness. I am a better person because of Christ.

How I live my faith

Weekly, myself and some other boys serve the elderly couples in our ward. I love serving them, as well as others in my ward. It has formed friendships and connections I value greatly. I try to touch base with all the young men in my ward and make sure that they are all doing okay. When I first moved into my ward, there was no sense of brotherhood but since then, we have grown to love one another and we have developed an excellent sense of unity. Every Wednesday night we meet together for an activity. One other responsibility I have is home teaching. Every month I go with my dad to teach a message to active members in our ward and make sure that they are doing well and that their needs are being met.
