Hi I'm Terry

I grew up in Arizona and joined the church as a teenager. Now, I'm a mother and grandmother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three children and three step children. Between my husband and I, we have 10 children with 2 on the way. I enjoy travel and as a result of my work, have been able to travel to Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South America, Canada, and throughout Asia. I've also been able to travel throughout the U.S.

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout my childhood, I felt that the church my family attended didn't suit me. Several things that I was seeking for were not manifested from that church. While I respect that it was sufficient for my family, who I love dearly, it was not sufficient for me. I watched and admired my high school friend, she behaved differently from other girls in high school, and when I asked what church she belonged to, she told me that she was a Mormon. My friend invited me to attend meetings and activities with her. Probably most profound, she invited me to read the Book of Mormon. I was ecstatic when I read it - all of the unanswered questions I had were revealed as I read. This was the best and perhaps most important decision I have ever made.

How I live my faith

My husband and I are currently serving in our stake's Young Single Adult Ward where he serves as a counsellor to our bishop. Once a week we serve in the Sacramento, California, temple and we love it!
