Hi I'm Trevor Tuthill

I have lived all over the world. I am a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have moved every two years for almost my entire life. I have lived in in Utah, Turkey, California, Texas, Colorado, Alaska, Belgium, Florida, and Nebraska. I am currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love skiing and spending time with my friends. I was a founding member of a Human Rights Club at my school which helped raise awareness about human trafficking, and I hope to be able to continue this campaign throughout my adult life in order to save as many lives as I can from this horrific practice.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church, but that is not why I am a Mormon. My parents raised me with the belief that everyone has the right to their own beliefs, and I agree with that. My parents never forced me to come to church or force me to believe anything. I have had the opportunity to develop my own faith in this Church. I have, through my travels and various other situations, opportunities to visit other denomination's religious meetings, and to me there was always something missing in their message and their doctrine that I found in the Latter Day Saint Church. I am currently serving a voluntary religious Mission trip in the Spain-Barcelona Mission for the Church of Jesus Church of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith day by day and step by step. I wake up every morning just like everyone else. I have not always had the easiest time living my faith; however, overtime I have come to know and understand that the strongest of beliefs is build upon the most basic of principles. I know that Jesus is my savior and that he suffered and died for the sins of all mankind, and while I may not be able to consciously fathom the sins of all mankind, I know it is true. I do my best to pray to my God every morning and every night. In my young men group I have had the opportunity to work with and lead them. This has been a wonderful experience for me in many ways. I have been able to work with individuals with the strongest of beliefs in the Latter Day Saint church and the weakest. It has been helpful for my beliefs, to see what those with weaker beliefs tread on, and to see those with firm faith.
