Hi I'm Saren

Wyoming born and raised, wife, aunt, orthodontic assistant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music. Whether it is singing in the car or choir, playing the piano or attempting my hand at the guitar I love music. Another interest of mine is learning about different cultures or hearing stories from people from different walks in life. There are so many unique people in this world that have had different or similar experiences and I learn so much from talking to them. I also love history. Right now I am studying history in college and love learning all that I can. Another subject that I love to learn more about are languages. I love speaking Spanish or Sign Language whenever I have the opportunity to do so. Through speaking other languages I feel that we can connect with more people and hear their stories and to me that is very exciting. Lastly I grew up on a farm and learned to work hard, be honest and much more from the example of my parents.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me and my five siblings in the gospel and many of my extended family members are members of the church. From their examples and direction I sought to know if these things were true for myself. As I practice what the scriptures say will bring us happiness and pray to my Father in Heaven I gain a testimony of each aspect of this gospel and know that this church is true. Each and everyone of us can once again live with our Father in Heaven if we follow the example of His Son and listen to the council of our living prophet on the earth President Thomas S. Monson.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to others. I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in the Provo Utah Mission. I love going to the daily institute classes that are offered by the church in my area so I can continue to learn about the Savior and become more like him. I also love going to the Temple as I can seek answers and draw closer to my Father in Heaven and bring the peace I feel at the Temple with me as I leave.
