Hi I'm Tylar

I am a son. I am a brother. I am a friend. I am me, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in California, USA. I love reading and listening to music. I love cooking food. I like doing things outside. I love to teach others and learn new things. I love to drive. I love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

A friend introduced me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was 18 years old. I spent several months going to activities with these Mormons, and eventually my friend gave me a Book of Mormon to read. As I read it, I couldn't help feel how similar it was to the Old and New Testament. A while later, I started meeting with the missionaries, and they taught me the principals of the Gospel. While it was a long and tough journey for me personally, I eventually came to the crossroad of choice. Is this real, or is it not. I can tell you it is real. Through prayer, faith, reading the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, by listening to the words of the Prophets and Apostles, living the values and commandments, I became a better disciple of Christ. And I'm loving it. The day I got baptized by a person holding the priesthood authority, was the day I felt like I had washed my sins away, and that I had been forgiven.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by choosing to do what is right, following my heart, and standing up for what I believe in. I accepted a calling as a teacher of the principals of this Gospel, and I coordinate my local branch sacrament. I live my faith by being an example to my siblings, that they may see the blessings Heavenly Father can bestow on them too.
