Hi I'm Niño

I am a mormon. I love baseball and soccer but i don't play on big games because i was diagnosed with seizure

About Me

I am called to serve to the Philippines Manila Mission. I am 18 years old, 90's kid (1999). I love music and piano. I play basketball and volleyball but i am not really the best player. I love writing poems or deep thoughts. I love the Book of Mormon and the Bible. If you need someone to talk to, just inbox me. I am a 2nd year college student. I am taking Bachelor of Science in Biology. Well, i am thinking of taking another course when i get home after mission. My goal is to study in BYU Hawaii.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the church is true. My mom is a returned missionary and my dad's not, he is a convert. I am a child of record which means one of my parent is a mormon and the other is not. I grew up in the church. I learned a lot of things. During my teenage years, i had doubts if the church is true. I kept on praying and reading the scriptures to know if the church is true. The Holy Ghost verified that this is the true church. I know that the Lord loves us so much that He died for us. The church taught me to be humble. It gave me hope during the darkest time of my life. I am not perfect, i commit sins. I strive to ask for forgiveness every time i commit mistakes. We should draw ourselves to God and i promise that His presence will dwell on you. We might face trials and oppositions in our life, but we must not forget that the Lord will help us if we are willing to take a step forward. Though the road may seem so blurry, He will guide us on our way out. He is reaching out. Let us take His hands and follow the road of righteousness. Let us learn to love our neighbors and ourselves. And lastly, let us follow what the Holy Ghost says. The Lord wants to be with you. He wants you back. He loves you so much.

How I live my faith

I always keep my faith burning by reading the scriptures and living with the things i learned. I always go to church and keep the sacrament meaningful. Listening to EFY is one best way to keep your faith going. I always listen to the counsels of the leaders especially during general conferences. I always evaluate myself if i am being worthy and if not, i repent and not repeating it. I always talk with the youths even if it is not sunday. It is good sharing your time with people who has the same standards with you.

In whom should we have faith?

In order to come closer to Heavenly Father and receive all the blessings that He has for you, you must first develop faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Apostle Peter taught that “there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Faith in God is more than a theoretical belief in Him. To have faith in God is to trust Him, to have confidence in Him, and to be willing to act on your belief in Him. It is a principle of action and power. Show more Show less
