Hi I'm Thomas Stock

I was born in Mesa Arizonia to amazing parents. I love building and creating things, and I am a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in many different states, starting with arizonia, new mexico, colorado, utah, and Missouri. After each move it would take me around six months to feel comfortable around others. I love my family and try to follow the example of my father as he has taught me everything I know. In 2014 I graduated high school and started college in rexburg Idaho's BYU-Idaho. Before I left for college, I became an eagle scout and feel that I have benifited much for that acheivment. I plan on becoming an inventor, since I enjoy building and creating things and love talking and teaching people about random stuff. I have always been raised in a good home and been given challenges that helped me improve my life. I plan on becoming a engineer and serving in scouts because that is what I enjoy and I love building up people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have come to know of the truth behind this gospel. I was raised in the gospel since birth, but my conversion happened very slowly. It stared with my up-bringing, I learned the doctrines and principles that set my character. As I continued to grow I began to question my faith. I knew that it was a good way of life, but I wanted to know if what I was being taught was truth. It was just so abstract and unable to be proven. It was at EFY, a place for youth to go and learn more about the gospel, that I was able to feel something different. It was a feeling that I got as I was surrounded by the love for others and I felt great joy. It was then that I decided to find out why this gospel feels so good. I began to test it, to study and move forward with faith trying everyday to see if this is true. It has never failed me, and my faith continues to grow as I pay close attention to my feelings and testimony.

How I live my faith

I have been taught, If you are going to start something you are going to stick with it till the end. Well I started this faith when I was eight, at the age of twelve I was assigned as a deacons qourm secretary and served in that position for the next six years. I have been an active member of scouting and have particapated in many camp-outs as quartermaster, patrol leader, and seinor patrol leader. Through these experiances I have learned how to become the man I am today. In college I particapated as a home-teaching cordinator and strived to make sure that all the members of the church had someone who was willing to visit them and that no one was left behind or forgotten. I am now preparing to go serve a mission for my church. I have been called to serve as missionary in Argentina. I will be teaching the gospel in the language of spanish.
