Hi I'm Jared

I was born in SanDiego, but raised in Seattle. I love helping my neighbors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am twenty two years old. I have head the wonderful blessing of being born in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have four younger siblings whom I adore with all my heart, how couldn't I with countless diaper changes! Always kept my self busy with sports. I played soccer all four years, as well as wrestling. While sports and school work would take large chunks of time out of my day I never forgot to make time for what truly mattered, my Family and my Heavenly Father. Any chance I had to go out with the missionaries and share the gospel, was a blessing for me. Although I will admit that i never fully committed to studying my scriptures, now I have realized the great importance of doing so. I am currently serving in my branch as President of the young men, and I strive to show the youth the importance of studying and being active in church at their age. Knowledge is one of the few things you take with you after you pass in this life, so i want to teach everything that I know to the youth, or anyone, so that they two can take some of that knowledge with them. I believe love and kindness is the ultimate weapon to beat anything, that is why I strive to act and live my life by these two characteristics!

Why I am a Mormon

There are many scenarios in which i could see my self making bad decisions if I did not have the gospel in my life. Thanks to my parents whom continued to be active in church and taking me to youth mutual and Sunday service, i have been able to gain a better meaning of life, and what directions I need to be heading in. Ofcrures no one is perfect in this life, i have made mistakes just as anyone else may have, but i have the blessing of knowing that I have a Savior. My Elder Brother Jesus Christ, came to this Earth and died for our sins. Thanks to whom i know that despite not being perfect, despite making huge mistakes in life, despite feeling depressed and lonely at times, thanks to Him, I can surpass all of these things. I live my life happily knowing that if I continue to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ I may be blessed in will have the opportunity of one day living in eternity with my family, and most Importantly with my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I am the president of the young men group in my branch. I push my self to prepare necessary activities for the youth of today, so that they may, First have fun and feel welcome and part of our family. Second learn of the beautiful message and lifestyle of being a Mormon. Aside from my calling I have recently been preparing my self to serve as a missionary. My younger brother is currently serving in Mexico, although i miss him dearly and ache that my best friend is away, through his courages act to serve my family and I receive blessings in many ways. Thanks to my brother, my desire to serve the Lord has grown even more, and I am preparing my self greatly to be a useful instrument for My Heavenly Father.
