Hi I'm Ahchee

I'm a Future Missionary, Preparing to serve in the Philippines Tacloban Mission, also an aspiring artist, and "I'm A Mormon"

About Me

If there is one hobby I love above all, it is art. I love art, in all forms, paintings, sculptures, architecture, music, literature, but i only practice painting and sculpture. I love reading and above all I love doing all these things with my family and friend. I lived in New Zealand, Samoa, and currently Australia, 7/8th Samoan, and 1/8th Chinese, Someday I will learn mandarin and go to china to find my ancestors and relatives,. I am the eldest of 5 children, graduated in an LDS College in Samoa, and a lover of all things Mormon. I am a weird person but I tend to enjoy my peculiarity. I'm probably the only Polynesian who loves classic artists (Da Vinci, Raphael, Waterhouse, Degas, Monet, Millais, Michelangelo, etc) and classical music (Tallis, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Glass, etc). But they help me with my testimony, because I see in them beauty that can only be accomplished with help from Heavenly Father, their artwork and compositions manifests the Lords creations in ways that make me acknowledge Heavenly Fathers existance, and that is what people don't know about me. Hopefully there's another weirdo out there like me. Oh yeah, and just so you didn't notice, I'm A Mormon

Why I am a Mormon

Easy Answer Is: I was Born into It. but it doesn't make it any easier. Being Mormon means more than just being Baptized. Being Mormon is about faith, and having a strong testimony, I am Mormon because I know, and I believe in Heavenly Father, I believe in the Atonement Of Jesus Christ, and the Power and Gift of The Spirit. I believe in the Plan Of Salvation, And know that Families Are Forever, I know that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet Of God, like Moses, and Abraham and all those in the bible. A testimony does not come with birth, It is earned through trial and tribulation, being a Mormon does not guarantee an easy life, but it guarantees eternal blessings if we endure and persevere. I am living in these blessings everyday and I am a Mormon because of these things.

How I live my faith

I am currently preparing to serve a mission, I have been called to labor in the Tacloban Philippines Mission for 2 years, This is all volunteer work, I don't get any special temporal reward from it, but the feeling of when I am doing it will be enough. My mission is not for me, but for all the people that I will be able to bring to Heavenly Father, to help them at the best of my ability, no matter what, the next 2 years will have nothing to do with me but it is for everyone I will be with, I am just an instrument in the Lords Hands. I live my faith by practicing the greatest principle the Lord Jesus Christ teaches us in his ministry; the principle of sacrifice. I try my best to do what I can for others, I visit people in my ward, and around my street, perform services and volunteer work. In my ward I serve as a Ward Missionary, and a Youth Male Representative, I love my callings, and I try my best to magnify and honor it. I love my ward, and I love how everyday they strengthen my testimony because they never fail me, and they're always there when I need them. and I'm hoping to give this blessing to everyone I will meet
