Hi I'm Daniel Jordan

I'm a Texan. I'm a musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was homeschooled all my life, and in addition, took some dual-credit college classes. I have received my mission call, and will be leaving soon. When I return, I plan on finishing college, and possibly majoring in Landscape Architecture. I enjoy doing things outside, especially biking and hiking. I have a deep interest in music; I enjoy listening to a wide variety of music, and have been playing the piano for about thirteen years. I am now serving as a full-time missionary for the Church in Mesa, Arizona. I have had some great experiences helping others come closer to Jesus Christ. Serving a mission is not easy, but I am glad that I have this opportunity. I am getting to learn about other people and improve myself, and most importantly, my testimony of the Savior and His teachings has grown.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church has been a great blessing in my life. I don't know where I would be without it. Although I was born into the Gospel, it has taken some time for me to get to the point where I know for myself that this Church and all its teachings are true. I can't trace everything back to one instance, but I have had several experiences that have added to my witness, or testimony. My testimony continues to grow, and it keeps me going in the right direction.

How I live my faith

I have been the pianist in my ward (congregation) for the past five years, and it has been good to be able to serve in this way. Although I'm not perfect, I strive to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ every day.
