Hi I'm Alanna

I'm a cheese head. I love traveling and the outdoors. I'm a student at BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Wisconsin and I am the second of four kids in my family! I love spending time with my family and friends playing games, taking road trips, and doing anything outdoors! I love traveling and trying new things. I'm super out going and definitely a people person. I go to Brigham Young University and love everything this school has to offer, GO COUGS!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Christ. I know that God lives and I know the he loves all his children. I have a testimony that Jesus Christ took upon all the sins and pains of the world and paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we may live again. Because He did this for us, He knows EXACTLY how we are feeling and we are never alone. This bring so much joy into my life. I have read the Book of Mormon and can testify of its truthfulness. It was written from prophets of old for our generation. I am filled with Heavenly Father's love for me each time I read. I have a testimony of and a great love for the priesthood. I'm so grateful that through the priesthood's power I can live forever with my family- that it's not "until death do you part" but for all eternity! I love this church and am eternally grateful to my parents for raising me into it. I'm a Mormon because the gospel brings me joy, because the Atonement of Jesus Christ gives me hope, because The Book of Mormon is true, and because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints IS true.

How I live my faith

Growing up in an area where not many members of the church are found, I have been able to be an example to everyone around me. I live my faith through my example by how I dress, speak, and act. While at BYU, it can be easy to fit right in as most people share the same standards as I do. But going through high school and now as I anxiously wait to serve my mission, I am back home in Wisconsin where most people have very different standards than I. I live my faith in everything I do and it makes up everything that I am. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ, I know where I came from and I know why I'm here on Earth. Because of this, I know what I have to do in order to get where I'm going. If I want to return to my Father in heaven, then I must live my faith fully and righteously.
