Hi I'm Colee Mauss

I'm a middle child. I'm from Las Vegas. I'm a lover of golf. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love being with my family. I am 4th out of 6 kids (3 older sisters, younger sister, and little brother). I love the outdoors and anything that has to do with being outside such as hiking, camping, four wheeling, ect. I went to a year at UVU, Utah Valley University, before I went on my mission. I want to be a pediatrician, a NICU nurse or a special ed teacher. Really who knows. Haha. I am currently serving in the Colorafo Fort Collins mission for this wonderful church. I love participating in sports, even if I am bad at them. Overall, I love laughing and having a good time with friends! 🤗

Why I am a Mormon

When you grow up in the church you go into a pattern and it feels normal. Every now and then I would have to stop and think, "Is this the true church? Is everything I'm learning the truth?" and then I'd pray to my Father in Heaven and ask him any questions or doubts I had. I felt the Spirit and I knew that this church was true. I am a member of this gospel not only because I grew up in it but because it is the true church. I've felt the Spirit and I know that the Book of Mormon is complimentary to the Bible. It has helped me through so many hardships in my life. If you really want to know if it is true, our Heavenly Father will tell you if you pray and ask. I invite y'all to read from its pages and ask if the words are true. I love this gospel and everything that it brings. If you are looking for peace and joy, then I encourage you to meet with the missionaries. This is the true and living gospel. I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly striving to be my better self. We were put here on this Earth to go through hardships to help make us stronger. I am grateful that I know where I came from, why I'm here, and where I'm going. By knowing those common questions, it helps me live my faith better. I am a child of God. We are all children of God. Knowing these truths help me grow my faith in this gospel.
