Hi I'm Milan

Grew up in AZ. I love playing sports. Serving a mission in Scotland/Ireland. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Before I was born and when I was young my family moved around a lot. We eventually settled in Gilbert, Arizona and I am so grateful for all the wonderful opportunities I have had while growing up. I developed many passions as I grew older. I enjoy playing all kinds of sports, but I decided to focus on wrestling and football while in high school. I grew stronger in many ways by participating in sports, and I learned valuable lessons of hard work and discipline. I also really enjoy music, especially playing the piano. I find so much peace in listening to, playing, and writing music. I've also grown to place importance on education. I love learning and embracing academic challenges. My amazing family has supported in all my endeavors, and I love them so much. My faith is also a top priority in my life, and the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me much happiness. I am serving a mission in Scotland/Ireland to help others come unto Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born into the church and was baptized at age 8, I still underwent conversion to gain the faith that I have today. I have testimony that this is a true church because I have felt the happiness that comes from abiding by gospel principles. Even though it may not be the easy thing to do, following God's commandment will allow us to receive blessings. I know that Heavenly Father has a perfect plan for all of us and that we may all return to live with Him again someday. Through faith, repentance, baptism, and continuous righteous living, everyone can return to Heavenly Father and live with their families for all eternity. If we trust in the Lord, we can accomplish all things and conquer and adversity. Eternal happiness comes from the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I show my faith my striving to follow the ultimate example of charity and love: our Savior Jesus Christ. He was perfectly kind and loving toward everyone, no matter who they were and where they came from. Even though I am not perfect, I try to live righteously and be charitable as Christ was. I enjoy visiting and teaching families in my ward, where I can build trusting relationships with them and offer them any help and services. I am serving a mission in Scotland and Ireland where I can dedicate my life for two years to serving God and helping others.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Milan
Heavenly Father has blessed us with families on Earth so that we can grow in love and strengthen each other. Families are central to God's plan and we not put with our families for a temporary time on Earth. We believe that families can live together forever and that there are sealing powers that are exercised in the temple that can bind families together for all eternity. It doesn't makes sense to develop such strong connections just so that it can all disappear when we die. Family relationship can continue past mortal death and we can live in happiness with them forever. Show more Show less
