Hi I'm Diana

I am a woman who was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day for 57 years.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I love my family!! I worked full-time in the banking and mortgage fields until I retired 6 years ago. I love to read, sew, garden, cook, and laugh! I am a singer and have been singing since I was 3 years old.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family who were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. My ancestors came from England, Ireland, Switzerland, and Germany to America to be able to live their lives within the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have read their stories and felt their testimonies touch my heart. I have studied the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and attended church classes and know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true and that the only way to be truly happy is to live the Gospel. My life has not been perfect. There have been challenges and trials and heartaches. But I have felt God's presence in my life through prayer and fasting. I have felt the peace and comfort and guidance come into my mind, and heart, and spirit because of the Atonement of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I cannot imagine not being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints! It is my foundation!

How I live my faith

My life begins each day with a prayer asking for an opportunity to give service to someone each day. I have had opportunities to serve in the community as a volunteer in my children's schools, for fundraisers, in sports events, and musical presentations. My church has provided me with the blessings of working with and teaching children from ages 3 to 18, teaching adult religious classes, and serving the women in my neighborhood and church. I have also loved being involved with music in our church--singing, directing congregational singing, and directing choirs. There is nothing better than doing something for someone else to see and feel the hand of Heavenly Father and the Savior in our lives.
