Hi I'm Michelle

I grew up in a family of all girls. There was never a dull moment. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom and a grandmother. I have always enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, being outdoors and being around my family. I like to walk and hike in the beautiful area I live in. I have five children and 17 grandchildren so I keep busy enjoying being with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a wonderful family who loved me and took good care of me. I always knew my Father in Heaven loved me and knew who I was and cared about me. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that He lives. I am deeply grateful for how they manifest their love for me through the countless blessings I have received from them. I know that it is only through the Savior and His ultimate sacrifice that I can return to Heavenly Father. That, in and of itself, shows me they love me. I always feel happy when I am living the the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know today more than ever that this is the true Gospel.. That through Joseph Smith the Gospel of Jesus Christ really was restored to the earth as in the early days when Christ walked upon the earth. I am so grateful for him and the sacrifices he made for us to have the gospel in our lives. I know that he saw the Father and Jesus Christ in answer to his prayer. I know that he was given the plates from which he translated the Book of Mormon and that the Book of Mormon is true. It makes me happy and brings me great joy and peace to know these things. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love serving in my church. I have worked with the young children, youth (teens) and also in our women's organization. There is always an opportunity to serve and to volunteer. The "callings" that I have had have also opened up opportunities to serve in the community at homeless shelters, food banks and the local public schools. I have participated in activities that have provided quilts to the needy and school supplies, hygiene kits and layette sets for those in need.
