Hi I'm Stewart Wood

I'm a native of California. I'm a missionary In Pittsburgh. I enjoy movies, friends, and inside jokes. Also I am Mormon.

About Me

I have been serving in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Mission for over a year, and love the amazing people here. Before my mission I got a kick out of beating on drums, playing piano, and listening to music. In high school I wrestled, did track for a couple years and then finished it off with cheerleading my senior year. Dr. Pepper is my favorite drink, and Star Wars/Lord of the Rings is tied for best movies ever. The beach is amazing! I've been blessed to travel around the world here and there. Quoting movies, inside jokes, and singing random songs are some of my favorite things to do with family and friends. Meeting new people and doing new things has always been scary at first, but rewarding.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because God loves me, and is my heavenly father. I am a Mormon because we have a modern day prophet to guide us in these ladder days. I am Mormon because I have prayed to know if it is true, and I've received an answer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the scriptures, and praying daily. I also go to church every Sunday, and engage in the lessons to help others, and also to learn for myself. I love to serve others and when ye are in the service of your fellow man you are only in the service of your God!

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Stewart Wood
If you take missionaries for example they go out everyday teaching, and serving non-Mormons. The church has helped out many times to those who have been struck by natural disasters, who need food, blankets, and other things. Youth from the church have written letters to those serving in the armed forces whether Mormons or not. Mormon strive to serve all people whether they are in our church or not. Show more Show less
