Hi I'm Karl

I left the Philippines when I was 4. I grew up in Canada. I'm serving a 2 year mission in the Philippines and yeah.. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love simplicity. I like to think that every sense of joy and accomplishment I've received in life has been due to the enthusiasm and passion I've shown toward everything I do each day. I live in Canada and I am currently preparing to serve a two year mission in the Philippines and the opportunity of going back home is truly a blessing. I've come to know that I have been given these specific experiences to help me grow and learn as a child of God. One thing that I've grown to love is art. It is a special tool that has helped me express identity, perspective and understanding. I love to paint and to draw and everything I accomplish in art allows me to see deeper into who I am. Whatever it is that I do in life, I greatly appreciate the opportunity to grow and find happiness through experience.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the Gospel all my life. My father joined the church when he was eight and he has been a tremendous example to me of how to live the truths of the Gospel in all aspects of life. It is why I have developed deep understanding of certain truths that allow me to have constant faith. This church has blessed me in so many ways, and it has helped my family grow closer and closer through experience. The happiest and saddest moments in life have given me the perspective to always show love and I know that has come from being a member of the LDS church. The love I've received is endless and I've been blessed with a sense of peace. I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true and that it can bless lives temporally and eternally. I know that through faith one can come to understand all the things that happen while we are here on earth and the blessings that come through that knowledge are great beyond measure.

How I live my faith

Living true to my faith requires all my purpose in heart. Everything I've learned and know to be true are embedded in little aspects of everyday life. I attend church where I have certain responsibilities that allow me to learn so much concerning my purpose and my potential. I have responsibilities to teach, others of my age, others who are older, and everything I teach comes from my personal desire to help others come to understand the certain truths that i know. I love to teach families and I've grown to love those whom I've taught, and knowing that I've come to know these families and have helped them in some way brings me great joy. My faith must be apparent in the way i live and living according to what I believe and know is faith. My mission service is a great opportunity to show faith and have the chance to help others come unto Christ. It is a divine responsibility and I hope to learn and to grow with an open heart.
