Hi I'm Aimee Acosta

I grew up in Provo, Utah. I'm a track and Cross Country athlete and most importantly I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a 19 year old preparing to leave on my mission in just a couple weeks, I'll be serving in the Washington DC area. I'm the youngest of 2. I recently graduated high school. as exciting as that may be it's bitter sweet but now I'm on to bigger and better things. I love to run I was in my high school's Cross Country and Track team. I absolutely loved it, it taught me so much and I'm grateful for the time I had.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, I was raised in the church but I also had to find out for myself if all that I was taught and heard from a young age was true. So I did, I knelt down and prayed. I know without a shadow of a doubt that this church is true, that it's through the Prophet Joseph Smith that we are able to once again have Christ's church and Gospel on the earth today. It's through the Atonement of Jesus Christ that we can truly come to understand how much He, as our Savior loves us and how He wants us to return back to our Father in Heaven again. I know we are all beloved Son and Daughters of God we have a great purpose in this life we have to find out for our self why it's true and when we do hold it close and endure to end. As long as we take everyday as a blessing of life we will always cherish it. I choose to be Mormon and will always be grateful for that!

How I live my faith

For my faith I worked with the youth and other members of my ward. I'm a ward missionary which means me and this other sister are called to visit less active or non member talking to them about our faith and what we believe. As for the youth, I'm a President of a young women's group.
