Hi I'm Bryan

My dream is to be an author. I play the guitar and piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to create and to imagine new things. I love to write and hope to become an author. I enjoy watching good movies and listening to inspiring songs. I am the second youngest member of a family of 5 kids. I graduated from high school and worked for a year to save up for my mission, which I am currently serving. I have great parents who love me and have helped me all my life! I love my siblings and we have lots of fun together!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church and was baptized at the age of 8. However, at the age of 12, I began to go my own way. At 15, I had decided that I wanted to do something else besides follow my parents' counsel and what I knew to be right. I thought I knew better and that I would be able to find happiness another way. I sought for other sources of happiness and pleasure. When I was around 15 1/2, I realized I was not happy. I was completely miserable. I had lost all the happiness I had had before. All because I had chosen to stop listening to my parents, who tried to teach me the commandments of God, and instead, I had chosen to follow God in my own way, searching for my own happiness. However, this happiness could not last, nor was it the "happiness" I desperately desired. The Savior's happiness is a happiness that lasts forever. I instantly recognized and knew that I had been happy before, when I had been keeping the commandments and following Jesus Christ. So, I decided I needed to change. I needed to stop what I was doing and start following Jesus Christ again. With the help of Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father, and the Holy Ghost, I did change my life and have been forgiven of my sins. I have found a light within me that came from my desire and faith in Jesus Christ. That light pushes me and keeps me going on this path to Him. I now greatly desire to make Him happy and to be a good person. I am greatly encouraged by the choices He places before me, the aid He gives me to change to become the person He knows I can become and who I want to one day be. I know that He cares for each one of us. He has taken care of me and He will take care of every son and daughter of God. My choice to follow Him was never a choice of my parents. Everyone must choose and continue to choose, for themselves to follow Jesus Christ forever. I have made that choice, and I will forever choose Him. I hope one day to see Him and to feel His love and His arms about me forever.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I go about striving to do good and to teach others so that their faith in Jesus Christ is strengthened and they can feel His love for them!
