Hi I'm Jake

I grew up in Manti, Utah. I love to play baseball and football. I also love doing anything outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Jake I like to play sports. I am a helpful person who is looking out for others who need the help. I like to work hard and get things done before being asked to do it I always just think ahead and stay busy. My hobbies are sports, go shed hunting, fishing and basically anything outdoors. After my mission I plan on going to Snow College for a little bit then I want to try to be a Cop. I am Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have learned about the gospel for myself through the book of Mormon, praying when I have questions which have always been answered. my seminary classes during high school have always kept the gospel and helped me think of the savior and what he does for us everyday. I found the truth for myself by doing these things. id like to bear my testimony that I know that joseph smith was a true prophet and that Thomas s. Monson is our true prophet today who teaches and guides us by the spirit. I Know that as we really ponder and try to find the truth for ourselves the lord will really make it known to you. The book of Mormon is true and without it I would be lost but by its truth I believe it and it continues to bless my life and helps me to know I have the lord on my side. he loves each and everyone of us. I say these things in name of Jesus Christ amen.

How I live my faith

How I participate with my ward is doing service projects or whenever they have Young mens and I don't have anything ill be to it. I have only been called a Deacons President but that is the only calling besides being called a Missionary. My home teaching family is my football coach which was always nice because our families are good friends so that makes home teaching easier. I have gone to mission prep classes to prepare me for my mission for about a year now and it has really helped me a lot. I go visit the care center most Sunday's and keep some people who are alone to have company. That has helped me learn more about serving others and how great it makes you feel. My mission so far as I have been gone for 4 weeks has really shown me a lot that having faith in the lord and our prayers really help us learn to recognize the answers we receive I am now living my faith by teaching by the spirit.
