Hi I'm Kyle

I'm from Preston, Idaho. I love to play basketball. I am a missionary in the Japan Fukuoka Mission and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of four children. I have two younger brothers and a younger sister. I grew up in Preston Idaho, "Home of Napolean Dynamite". I recently graduated as Valedictorian from my High School. I love to play basketball and was named an All-Star, All-State Player of the Year. I also love the outdoors as well as hiking, fishing, and camping. I plan on attending college and then medical school to become a doctor. I have been called to serve as a full-time missionary in the Japan Fukuoka Mission and will be serving from June 2015-June 2017.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to loving parents and was lucky enough to have been born into the church. While I was younger, I always ended up using mom's and dad's testimony and following what they told me to do. It was always go to church, read scriptures, say prayers and be a good person. I never argued but never fully understood why I had to do all of those things. As I grew up, I had questions much like Joseph Smith and through answers and confirmation of my questions, my own testimony started to develop. As my testimony continued to expand, I began to understand why I was, am, and always will be a Mormon. I continue to follow the Gospel as I know it truly brings me happiness and impacts my life in the best way possible. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church and that the Book of Mormon is truly another testament of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon and I am proud of it.

How I live my faith

When I think of how I live my faith, I think of living my faith by being an example to everyone, members and non-members alike. Everyday I try to be someone that people can look up to and follow. When I am talking to everyone and being nice, helping out with a service project, listening to and helping out a friend, following the church standards, and being a servant of our Father in heaven I know that I am living my faith the right way. I know that by doing those things, I am affecting others and their lives and making things better for them. By being an example, others can follow me and also start becoming more like Jesus Christ.
