Hi I'm Carol

I grew up in Bunkerville Nv. We have 9 children, 42 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren. I was Postmaster 26 yrs.I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Wife, a Mom, a Grandma, and a Great Grandma. After High School I went to College for one year then worked for one year, then got married, and have been married for 55 years. We have 9 children, 42 Grandchildren, and 19 Great Grandchildren, and we love each one of them. I enjoy time with our Family, traveling, flying, reading, sewing, and sometime cooking. I was a stay at home mom until just before our 8th child was born, then worked as Postmaster for 26 years. After we had both retired we served in one of the LDS Temples for 6 years, then served on a mission in South Africa for 23 months.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all my life. My parents taught my siblings and I to be obedient, to be honest, to pray daily to our Father in Heaven. We were taught that if we do all we can in following the Savior we will be blessed. I have found that this is true. As we had children of our own and we have gone though life, we found that our trials come more often when we had been disobedient and had not done all that we know we should, or that would bring us eternal happiness. We find that as we obey the teachings of our Savior we are blessed with peace and happiness, and our family does must better. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints we believe that Heavenly Father's Plan of Happiness will help us to return to live with him some day and it is only through that plan that we will find joy and peace for our family to be an Eternal Family. I know that our Heavenly Father lives, that he knows me and you and that he loves each one of us and that he suffered great pain of agony for each of us. I believe that he was willing to suffer and die that we might all be able to live again together. All we have to do is repent, be baptized by immersion, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, and keep his commandments. I am Thankful for a Loving Heavenly Father who will allow us to make our own choices and gives us help when we choose the wrong way. I am so thankful for this Gospel in my life, for the many blessing we have enjoyed and the opportunities we have had in serving in the Church. I am thankful for the help it gives to us in our lives, in raising our children and helping us to make good choices, and in time of need. I am thankful to have a living Prophet that leads and guides our Church today, who gives us counsel and advice in helping us hold fast to the Iron Rod and the Plan of Happiness.

How I live my faith

In my life time I have enjoyed helping with school activities, such as with plays, field trips, fund raisers, and dinners. I have traveled with groups as they perform in different places, and have enjoyed seeing our youth as they developed their talents, and enjoy good clean entertainment. In the Church I have served in the Children's program, teaching classes, leading the music, as a Secretary, and in helping in organizing programs. With the Youth I have served as a teacher, a secretary, and a President. I have been a leader over girls camps, first-aid classes, and programs. With the Adults I have been a President serving the Sisters in our Ward, I have taught classes, I have helped in the organization in putting programs together, in caring for those in need, and seeing to the needs of all the Sisters in our group, plus as a Visiting Teacher in caring for a few of the sisters from our Ward. I have been blessed as my husband and I served in South Africa as missionaries, working in the Mission Office.
