Hi I'm Heather Davies

I am a dancer, sister, and missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five children, with four younger brothers. I love explore the outdoors, especially the mountains and deserts of Utah. I love to dance, and have been dancing since I was three. I performed with my high school's drill team for four years, and served as president of the team my fourth year. I have also been involved with student government, serving as a student body officer my senior year of high school, and as an executive assistant for two semesters at BYU. I have since deferred from BYU for two years to serve an LDS mission in Samoa.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family who taught me the restored gospel. I embraced it at first, then chose not to live it fully for a time. When I began again to read my scriptures and pray after a long period of time of not doing so, I felt the difference the spirit makes in my life. I was happier, more positive, and more loving to those around me. I am a Mormon because the Mormon church gives humanity what it greatly desires--a source of stability and strength. So many things in the world are impossible to keep up with. Fashion, technology, and world events are only a few examples. As the central focus of the church, Jesus Christ gives us a place of rest, peace, and love when the world can not.

How I live my faith

Before leaving to serve a mission in Samoa, I taught the young adults in my young single adult ward in Provo. I also taught a class of three-year-olds in my home ward just before leaving. I love to share my experiences and knowledge of the gospel with anyone around who will listen. There is joy found in this church and I want everyone to experience it!
