Hi I'm Matthew Hatch

Love to serve and can always find a reason to smile.

About Me

I am the youngest of seven kids; I have three older brothers and three older sisters. I grew up in California and graduated from high school in 2013. I played water polo during my high school years and loved every minute of it. I love all sports and just being active and outdoors. I also have a passion for business and am studying to be a business major at BYU-Idaho. I have put my education on hold to take two years to serve a mission; I have been called to labor in the Charlotte North Carolina mission. I love to serve anybody and everybody I get such a good feeling from helping those in need.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I get an overwhelming joy from the gospel and have seen it bless my life tremendously. I see this gospel as the single most important thing in my life I understand it, believe it, and know that it is the thing that brings me the most peace and joy. I may not know the scriptures and doctrine as well as most, but I have had the spirit testify to me that this gospel is true. I know that when things get tough and we may feel alone that we are not alone and the Lord will always be there.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by not being afraid to open my mouth and share what I know to be true. I have such a deep love for the gospel and truly know that if I live all the principles that I can return to my Heavenly Father. I live my faith through service because when I serve my fellow man I am truly serving my God. Faith does not come easy but through the little things such as praying, reading my scriptures, and attending church I can grow my faith. Faith is a delicate thing and needs the proper nourishment to really grow and become knowledge. A great man once said "faith without work is dead". I am nowhere near perfect but through the lords example I can alien my life and set the course to returning to my Father in heaven.
