Hi I'm Kim

My dream is to be able to talk to everyone I meet in their native language. I love to smile and look at nature. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm nearing the end of my freshman year in college. I'm studying Linguistics. I love music; I sing and play the flute. I'll be leaving to serve a full-time mission in Russia pretty soon, and I look forward to the experience. I love to talk to people, but it takes me a while to feel comfortable enough to do so. I guess you'd say I'm kind of shy, but my mind is very active. I have things I want to say, and if you give me the chance, I'll share with you my thoughts.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love God, and I know He loves me. He has given everything He has for me. At the end of His life, when He bled from every pore in Gethsemane, was betrayed by one of His closes friends, and then was crucified on Calvary, He did that all for me. He is my Savior, and because of Him, I have the opportunity to live with Him again after this life. I am a Mormon because I know that this church is true. I know that the Savior lived and died and lived again - for me. I know that the Savior and God the Father appeared to Joseph Smith when he was lost and didn't know where to turn, and I know They watch over me now. When I pray to God, He hears me. He answers me. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I have read it and reread it multiple times. In that book, God gives words especially for me.

How I live my faith

I am a teacher. I teach Sunday School every other Sunday. This year, we're focusing on Christ's ministry. It has been such a wonderful opportunity to give my insights and hear the thoughts of others. I pray to my Father every waking moment. When I am walking down the street, I turn my eyes to the sky and give thanks for all that He has given me. This practice makes me happy.
