Hi I'm Randy

I grew up in Glendale, Arizona and lived there all my life. I am retired and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am retired and have many hobbies. I like to paint landscape pictures, work with leather, make jewelry and spend time enjoying our beautiful high sonoran desert. I am a father of 4, grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 8. I have lived almost all of my life in Arizona and love it here.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the church and always knew in my heart the gospel was true. When I was a young man 30 or so I gained a very strong and wonderful testimony that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was the Lord's true church on this earth. It has the fullness of the gospel with the authority to perform all the ordinances necessary for me to return to my Heavenly Father. I know that Joseph Smith Jr was a true prophet of God and was called to restore the gospel of Jesus Christ in it's fullness. I know my Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ love me. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins. I know President Thomas S. Monson is a true and living prophet. I know the Bible and the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.

How I live my faith

I have had the privilege of serving the Lord in many different callings in the church. I have taught the young children, teenagers and adult classes. I served in leadership positions and spent 10 years as a scoutmaster. I have a strong testimony of the importance of home teaching and really love the families I see every month. My wife and I are looking forward to serving a full time mission for the church.
