Hi I'm Brigitte

grew up in Utah, love adventure, called to serve as a missionary in Hawaii :)

About Me

I play soccer. It's a brilliant game that I enjoyed playing throughout my childhood and into my high school years. I continue to play the beautiful game in college. Besides soccer, I enjoy traveling and would like to someday backpack through Europe, explore Africa, and adventure through Indonesia. I am planning on attending Law School, but I really have no clue what I'm going to do as a profession, yet. During my senior year of High School, I studied abroad in Germany. The most important thing to me is my Family and it's incredible how much the gospel blesses families. I have the wonderful opportunity to be a missionary now and to see the gospel bless even more families and individuals! It truly is the greatest thing ever.

Why I am a Mormon

Although the teachings and practices of the church don't always follow those of the world, I have found so much joy and happiness in following the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have come to realize there is a much deeper meaning in the world than to "fitting in" or "standing out". If I did not know for myself that this church was true, I would not be a Mormon. But I do know. Because, I have felt pain. I have lost my way, and I have felt sorrow and grief. And, at my lowest moment in my life, God was always there to lift me up. Jesus Christ took my pain, agony, and frustration away. I was able to rebuild myself and my life as I came unto God. & the reason I continue to follow His gospel is because of the happiness it brings. I owe my whole life to my Savior. It is all true, every bit of gospel principle, every commandment, every part of the Plan... this gospel is perfect, and I feel so blessed to know of it and to be able to follow it.

How I live my faith

I think the biggest thing we can do to make a difference is to share what we have and to serve those in need. I have participated in many different service projects back home in Utah, as well as at college in Virginia. Recently, I have been called to serve as a missionary. I will be serving in the Hawaii Honolulu Mission for 18 months. A mission is not mandatory and is not a job for being paid, but an opportunity to strengthen my own testimony of Jesus Christ and to come closer to God as I bring others closer to Him. I hope to continue to share my love of service and of this gospel!
