Hi I'm Natalie Pugmire

I'm from Washington state, I love concerts more than most things and, you guessed it, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love nature, and I'm absolutely obsessed with the Pacific Northwest. I love rain, cats, the color black, pizza, the movie Hot Rod, reading, and long walks on the beach....oh wait, wrong website... I love any outward expressions of emotion, including art and music. I would have to say my favorite bands/artists are Pianos Become the Teeth, Moving Mountains, La Dispute, Pierce the Veil, Mayday Parade, Walk the Moon, Twenty One Pilots and Keaton Henson (and that's a condensed list...). I love learning about different cultures, and I look forward to traveling the world. I am currently serving a mission in Nauvoo, IL and it's the best—I get to wear a missionary tag and a pioneer dress, what more could you need? I am weird, honest, slightly opinionated, and always hungry.

Why I am a Mormon

For the first pretty large chunk of my existence, I was Mormon merely because my family was. It wasn't until High School that I realized I was living a life I didn't think I wanted. As a result, I changed. I did, as most teenagers do, what I wanted. I lived a selfish life, full of lessons learned the hard way. I am not Mormon because I was born Mormon, I am Mormon because after reading the Book of Mormon for myself, I received an answer from my Heavenly Father that is was true. I am Mormon because I know that God, and my Savior, loves me. I am Mormon because I know that without baptism, and without access to the atonement, I would not be able to make it back home.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to live a life like our Savior, Jesus Christ. I live my faith by falling short each day, and being picked up by the power of the atonement each day.
