Hi I'm Pam

I am very proud to be a wife, a mother, a grandmother. I am a convert who was raised Catholic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am retired and love to travel with my husband. We were both married previously and had all seven boys live with us when we started life together. I like to make quilts and hope to sew up all the fabric I have accumulated before I die. When we are traveling, we like to look for lighthouses and nature. On Sundays we always attend church in the area where we are. We love to see the beautiful Temples that have been built around the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Catholic and attended twelve years of Catholic schools. Towards the end of my senior year of high school, I began to doubt many things I was being taught. I quit going to church completely but missed it. I tried two or three churches over the next few years and then investigated the Mormon church. While at the Mesa Temple visitor's center several years ago, I was listening to the story of Joseph Smith in the grove, and I received a true witness that it was the truth. I decided that I wanted to learn more and was baptized within two months. I believe that Joseph Smith restored the true gospel of Christ on earth. I also believe that we have had a living prophet on earth since then.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example of how Christ taught us to live. I try to serve others, especially those in need. I try to visit the elderly and the sick. I like to take meals to those in need. I follow the teachings of our church leaders. I attend church to gain further knowledge of the gospel thru lessons, discussions and talks which are prepared to teach us.
