Hi I'm Brian

I'm a Utah native, a lover of life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I'm an engineering student at the University of Utah and I totally love it. I also work part time, help out at an elementary school, and find as many fun things to do as I possibly can during the week. I've found that I need the fun stuff to make it through the tough stuff. I also play the drums, enjoy hanging out with family and friends (especially at Bear Lake) and will have fun playing any sport. Interesting fact: I often lose track of time while wondering around in the library. I like books I guess. Lastly, I can relate to all dog people. Dogs are awesome, especially goldens.

Why I am a Mormon

"Ask and ye shall receive, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you." Those are the words that have allowed me to know the things that I do. I know Heavenly Father knows me and loves me. I know He has restored His church to the earth today. There is a living Prophet today, and the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know these things because the Holy Spirit has testified of them to me. As I search to know the truth, and pray in faith, I have felt God's Spirit testify to me of their truthfulness. That is the promise that God has for every single one of His children. All we have to do is seek, and ask in faith.

How I live my faith

I'm not one for routine. My favorite days are the ones that are full of new and often unexpected things (good ones, anyway). A couple things I make sure to do every day though are to read my scriptures and to pray to my Father in Heaven. The joy I have found in my life has come by getting a little closer to Christ every day. As I study His words and try to live according to His teachings, I know that I am doing the right things and I feel His Spirit.
