Hi I'm Natalie

I am a missionary. I am a lover of the outdoors and leadership. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love humanitarian work, and have traveled to India. I have a love for learning about other cultures. I love music. I love the outdoors. I love writing and reading. I play the piano and violin, I like to paint. I have completed one year of college still unsure of what major to go into. I am a daughter, the second oldest of four. I am currently serving a mission. I will be gone for 18 months. I will not be able to talk to my family, besides one email a week and Skype on Christmas and Mother's Day. I love being a Missionary and being able to represent my Savior, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be. I was born into this church, but as I have grown older I have come to realize that this is the true church and my gratitude for my membership grows each day. Each day I try to strengthen my testimony and I do that by following the teachings of our church, as I read my scriptures and pray I grow stronger. Also as I surround myself with others that share my same values I remain strong. I know and have felt many times the power of the restoration and I know that Joseph Smith was a boy seeking truth and he received it and then brought forth this restoration of Jesus's Christ's Gospel. I know I have a Heavenly Father and that he loves me. I know that through the great atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ I can be forgiven of my sins. I know that we in this day and time are lead by a true prophet of God, President Thomas S. Monson. I know without a doubt that he receives revelation from The Lord and it is specific to our day and age and that as we follow his council we will blessed. I know that the Book of Mormon testifies of Christ and that it is a wonderful guide and help in our lives as we study it. I have prayed and I know that the Book of Mormon is true and I will never stop learning of its teachings. This is the true church on the Earth and I know it, I live it and I love it!!

How I live my faith

I love being a part of my community. I go to a Youth Single Adult Ward and am currently called as the Relief Society Compassionate Service Leader. In this calling I help those who are struggling, either in health or in any way. It has been awesome to help those in need. I have also been in my home ward a Girls Camp Assistant Director, which was a blast! I love working with the young women. The influence I have on them can sometimes be greater than I ever imagined.

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Natalie
Eternal Life is our lives main end goal. Eternal life means to live with our Father in Heaven forever. We lived with our Father in Heaven before this time on Earth and he so badly wants us to return to him. We do this by living righteously here on earth and in the spirit world to come, before the judgement day. We believe that if we live righteously, that that and by the Grace of God, we may be saved, which saved is living in Heaven with our families and Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
