Hi I'm Kylie

I grew up in Bakersfield, California. I love to make people smile. I now attend Brigham Young University-Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently going to a private university and I love every minute of it. I love learning. I am majoring in Biomedical Engineering. An interesting tidbit about me is my number one goal everyday is to make at least one person smile. It makes my day better and hopefully someone else's. I love my family and friends. I have decided to serve a mission and have been called to serve in Guatemala. I am beyond excited for the opportunity to serve others with my whole heart, might, and mind. I am excited to dedicate 18 months of my life to serve.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the church, nothing could pull me away from my continual desire to learn and understand more. It is like a never ending process of learning, and I like that. I still belong to the church because of what I have felt, through listening to the prophets and apostles and through local leadership. I feel a desire to know more and love my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ because of the sacrifices that have been made for me to be here. It was my choice to come to this earth so I will make the most of it by living a faithful life to my Heavenly Father and the sacrifice of His only begotten son.

How I live my faith

In the past, I have taught 11 to 12 year old girls who I grew to adore as if they were my little sisters. I taught them the importance of being respectful and kind to everyone, especially those who have authority over us. I serve in my community by donating at the local blood bank and by going out into my community and serving. When I was younger I was called as the youth president for the local young women group for my church and I loved watching these girls grow closer together and work as a team.
