Hi I'm Nathan Clay Prince

I live in Idaho. I like snowboard, fish, and play soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outside. I like duck hunting, riding four-wheelers, hiking, fishing, and playing sports. Snowboarding is my most favorite thing to do in the winter. I love being with my friends and listening to music. I play the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? At the beginning of my life this was not my choice. I was born into this religion. I have grown up on the stories of both the Book of Mormon and the Bible. As I grew older, I realized I shouldn't be attending a particular church for anyone but myself. It is to better myself and grow off of things I believe to be true, so I began asking myself questions. Do I believe Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God? Do I believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God? Do I have my own testimony of this gospel? So I prayed. I prayed to Heavenly Father about all of these things. That day, I received and undeniable witness from God that this church is true, that Joseph Smith is a true prophet, and that the Book of Mormon is indeed the word of God. I felt it. I felt the warmest, most comforting feeling I have ever felt in my life, and I cannot deny that. Now, when I need to make a decision, I can recognize the influence of the Holy Ghost by this same feeling, and if I have it, I know that it is a good choice. I try to follow this influence as much as I can because it makes me happy.

How I live my faith

I hold a leadership position in the church. I am what is the called the "Second Assistant" in my youth group. I get to attend meetings with my bishop and provide input about the church group and changes that can be made. I home teach a great family in my ward with very sweet kids and loving parents. It is great to meet with them every month and get to know them better and serve their family!

What is faith?

Nathan Clay Prince
Having faith means that even though you cannot see something, you still believe its there. I have faith in a lot of things. Some are small, and some are the whole reason I am a member of this church. I have faith that God is a real, living being. I also have faith that I will choose the right college to attend, and that God can help me do that. Faith is compared to a seed. If we help it grow, it can flourish into a big tree. My faith is strengthened when I act on what I know is right, and I receive blessings for it. Show more Show less
