Hi I'm JT Conover

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Bentonville, Arkansas and love playing music and spending time outside and with my family.

About Me

I enjoy the outdoors. Specifically running, biking, four wheeling, hammocking, camping, and fishing. I really like photography but my main interest is in music. I sing and play a couple different instruments with my friends. I have been called to serve a 2-year mission in Campinas, Brazil. Although it is a long distance away and I have never been out of the country, I am confident that the Lord will bless me and my family as I serve Him and the people of Brazil.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I find a true, long-lasting happiness through living the gospel. I know that the gospel is true and that with it we can return to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again. My Heavenly Father loves me enough to pick me up even after I lose faith in him, and Christ suffered so that I may become perfected.

How I live my faith

I am the 2nd assistant to the Bishop in my priest quorum. I am preparing to go on a mission, so I attend seminary and teach lessons with the missionaries. I strive to study the scriptures every night as well as work through the "Preach My Gospel" booklet.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

JT Conover
Although all Mormons are not required to serve a mission, it is considered an amazing blessing filled with opportunities to learn and grow. The Savior taught in Matthew 28:19 to " Go ye therefore, and teach all nations" so worthy young men and women as well as older couples, use their time and money to serve the Lord by teaching all of his nations.
