Hi I'm Darci O'Meara

I am a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints(LDS or Mormon for short). I was raised in Phoenix, Arizona.

About Me

In 2009, my family and I moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico due to my dad's job. It is very nice here except, I am not a fan of cold weather. I went to college for a year before I started to go on a mission. My major is in Biology. I love science! It was always my favorite class in school. I plan to have a Bachelor's Degree in Biology so that I can enter into a good Vet School. My dream is to become an Equine Vet and own a property with a few horses of my own.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon church ever since I was born. I was taught by my parents and teachers about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I was eight years old when I was baptized and officially became a member of the church. I LOVE THIS GOSPEL! I get such a comforting warm feeling in my bosom whenever I am taught/learn about his doctrine, reading the Book Of Mormon, and knowing if it is true. It is a feeling that is sometimes hard to explain, but I know it is there because I can feel it! I know that The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints is the Lord's Church. I know he guides us here on Earth through a modern prophet. I know that the Book Of Mormon is another true testiment of Christ's gospel. I am very happy to be a member of this church and to know that I will always be a daughter of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by staying true to who I am as a person and as a daughter of God. It is not always easy, but then again life never is. Even I fall into temptation here and there. However, what helps me overcome these temptations is staying true to the Savior's Gospel, his commandments, saying my prayers, and reading the scriptures. Through these principles, I developed a relationship with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ that brings me comfort whenever I feel down, stressed, having hard trials, and when temptations are thrown my way. I know that when I feel my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, I have the strength to press forward through life, that I am not alone, and that I am truly loved.
