Hi I'm Stefanie Killpack

I grew up in Firth, Idaho. I love all things that consist of sports, the outdoors, and my family . I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in one of the smallest towns in Idaho, I would have to say that I wouldn't prefer to live anywhere else but in a small town. I love camping, riding motorcycles, hiking, fishing, shooting guns, and anything else you can do outdoors. Throughout high school I was able to be a part of many sports teams including volleyball, softball, and basketball. I was able to participate in Rec teams at college as well. Sports are one of my all time favorite things, especially basketball. I recently just graduated with my Bachelors in Child Development and eventually want to become a Child Life Specialist. I love when I can spend time with my friends and family. I love my family more than anything. My family has taught me so many important life lessons and have been an anchor of mine in gaining my own testimony of this gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I'm a Mormon because there is nothing else in this world that makes me happier. Life has not always been a piece of cake. I have experienced pain, heart ache, sorrow, sadness, loneliness, and many other emotions. These emotions will come with life. Life is hard, but the one thing that is constant and the one thing that I know is that God will always be there for us to ease our burdens, to walk by our side and lift us up in these difficult times. I'm a Mormon because I have gained a personal testimony of Joseph Smith and his restoration of the gospel. I have gained a testimony that death is not the end. There is life after death and we can be with our families forever. I'm a Mormon because through prayer and scripture study, I have felt Gods love for me and when I feel that love, it is just one more testament that I know this gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being honest, loving, and serving as much as I can. I attend church and read my scriptures and look for ways to serve others as well as ways to improve myself. I have been privileged to hold many callings in this church and have enjoyed every second that I have in those callings to learn more and better myself.

What is being a Mormon like?

Stefanie Killpack
Being a Mormon is like nothing else. It is amazing and gives me hope in life when life is hard. Nothing in this gospel holds me back, but rather helps me to improve and become a better person. Being a Mormon gives me hope for the future and helps me to be excited for things to come. Death is not the end. There is so much more after life. Show more Show less
