Hi I'm Ali Blake

I'm a student at BYU. I love to sing, dance and travel. My siblings and parents are my best friends. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm the girl that makes a to-do list down to the hour of my day, just because I think it's fun. I love to plan things, whether it be my school Prom, a charity event, a birthday party, a vacation or just something fun to do on the weekend. I have gotten to move around to different states throughout my childhood, and even though the experience of moving was extremely difficult, I wouldn't trade those experiences for the world. I love exploring and seeing Heavenly Father's creations. If I could drop out of college and travel the world, I would. Speaking of college, I'm a freshman at BYU hoping to major in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources. I love to sing and I grew up taking dance classes, but now I just dance in public 24/7 cause I can't help it. I love taking pictures and making little videos of my life. My siblings are my best friends, and my favorite thing to do is cuddle with my mom and talk for hours. Life is so good.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because of how unbelievably happy the gospel of Jesus Christ makes me. I have noticed the times I feel most depressed or down in life are when I'm not consistently praying, reading the scriptures and anxiously trying to feel my Heavenly Father's presence in my life. I have seen endless tender mercies in my life when I have asked for answers to prayers or asked for a friend when I didn't have one. My savior Jesus Christ has never left me alone, and has been my best friend in the loneliest of times. Nothing bad has resulted out of me being a member of the church, only eternal blessings. My family is happy, and we love each other and we all strive to be better disciples of Christ...and THAT is what makes us so close. I wouldn't trade them for anything and I owe my relationships with them to the gospel.

How I live my faith

Before I came to college I was the ward chorister and that pretty much gave me a heart attack every Sunday because I was always either leading the music to fast or too slow! Right now I teach lessons to the girls my age each sunday about different topics from the modern day prophets. I love getting to share insight about what I believe, and asking the girls about their testimonies. I'm preparing to serve a mission in Calgary, Canada! I leave this summer and am so grateful that I get to be a missionary.
