Hi I'm Samantha

I'm a California girl. I don't know any strangers, and have a love of people. I Love the Lord and put Him first. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have recently graduated college with my Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University Idaho. I am a single girl who loves to talk to people and interact with them on a daily basis. I love playing sports, especially basketball and volleyball. Honestly I will play any type of sport. Love to spend any spare time out on the lake wake boarding, or just even going along for the boat ride. I love going to the movies.I am a huge Disneyland fan. I like to go to amusement parks and ride roller coasters. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I do love to work. I have worked as a nanny for several families, absolutely love children. I have worked in a gym and love to work out sometimes a couple times a day. I come from a big family: I have three brothers, one sister, three sister-in-laws, three nieces, ten nephews, and a loving mom and dad. I guess you could say I love a big family and nothing brings me greater joy than spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life. Although, there was a time I knew it was time to stop depending on my parents testimony and faith and to really develop my own testimony of the church. I had just finished reading the Book of Mormon all the way through and turned to prayer to ask if the church was true. I had such a comforting sense of peace and confirmation of my own from Heavenly Father that it was true. I had always believed but now I knew for sure and didn't feel like I was leaning on any one else' faith. I have had times in my life that my testimony has been tried and I did struggle with some things in my earlier years and I knew that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ were always there for me. They even forgave me for my shortcomings and through Christ's atonement I am able to continue living righteously and be forgiven of my past transgressions. I love this Church and it's a way of life. The Lord loves us even with all our imperfections.

How I live my faith

I work with the youth in my church. I have spent time with the teenagers and teaching the young women from ages 12-13. I loved working with the teenagers, I felt I could connect with them a little better since it wasn't too long ago I was one of them. I have also spent time teaching the younger children from ages 4-5 and love seeing their bright little faces every week and helping them learn new teachings. I spend time practicing piano each week and play for my church every Sunday. I have a calling as a visiting teacher and have spent time getting to know new ladies and sometimes being able to help them in their needs and to serve them when I can.
