Hi I'm Brigham

I am from Rexburg, Idaho. I love music, sports, and spending time with family and friends. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in a small farming community where I learned by example and experience how to work hard. At a young age, my father and I started a lawn mowing business. A few years later I started working as a bus boy and later as a cook at my uncles restaurant. These opportunities not only taught me the value of hard work but also allowed me to financially prepare for a mission and college. I have recently been called to serve in the Scotland/Ireland mission. When I was 8 years old I began playing the piano and have developed that talent for the past 10 years. I played the cello for 6 years and in the past two years have participated in my high school choir. I love being outdoors - snowboarding, long boarding, biking, hiking, playing basketball, football, soccer, tennis, golf, frisbee, baseball, riding motor and pedal bikes, swimming, and pretty much anything there is to be done. I love being with my friends and participating in many different activities with them. I love to travel and seek adventure whenever and wherever I can. I absolutely love trying new things and am always looking for opportunities to go out of my comfort zone to do so. I have been a member of the student council this past year in school and have definitely had many chances to be out of my comfort zone as a result. I love my family! I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family and have chosen throughout my own life to remain a member of the church. I have chosen to remain a member of the church because of the spirit I have felt and the conformation of the Holy Ghost has born to me that the church is true. Because I was born to an LDS family my entire life I have been raised to love the Book of Mormon and follow its teachings. I have come to know my Savior and His ultimate sacrifice and fulfillment of the atonement. I have prayed for myself and come to know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that he restored the true church on the earth today, that God the Father and His son Jesus Christ appeared to him in the first vision. Through prayer I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God and another testament of Jesus Christ. I know the temple to be the house of God and that in there we may receive saving ordances and help to give the neccessary work for those who have died. I know that God loves us all as His sons and daughters and that He has a plan for all of us to return to Him, If we will but choose to follow and keep His commandments. I love my religion and I know my life is better because I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I was 8 years old. Throughout my life I have given my best efforts in living my faith. I have served in a variety of callings and am currently serving as the ward Priesthood Pianist and the secretary of the priests quorum. I will be serving a mission in Scotland and Ireland to spread the truths I have been taught my entire life. I home teach two families as the senior companion. I pay a full tithe on every paycheck I have retrieved. I have chosen to live my life according to the standards and commandments and have seen great blessings because of these choices. I love to participate in mutual and serve those in my community and quorum.
