Hi I'm Cayley Barton

Hey I am Cayley. I was raised in Utah. I am a student, I am dancer, I am wife, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up right outside Salt Lake City. I current live in Rexburg Idaho and I am an Early Childhood Special Education Major at BYU- Idaho. I love to help children, especially with disabilities, they are so close to God and have such a special spirit. Children are a great blessing and I enjoy teaching and helping them. I am recently married and I am loving it! I am the oldest of 5 children. I am the daughter to two amazing parents who have taught me how to be independent and who have taught me right from wrong. I have danced since I was little and love it. Dancing is a great way to express yourself and your feelings. I also play the piano, it is a beautiful instrument and is a great way to feel the spirit.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know God and His son Jesus Christ live. I know Christ died for me and I am indebted to Him for it. I have felt Heavenly Father's love, and continue to feel it everyday. I am comforted to know I can make mistakes and still be saved through the atonement. I know that the only way I can be saved is through Christ and He was the only person who could die for me. I know that I am Heavenly Father's daughter and that Heavenly Father wants only the best for me. He will test me and try me all throughout my mortal life, I know it is not for Him to watch me fail. Heavenly Father wants to strengthen me and teach me lessons. These lessons bring me closer to my Father in Heaven. Without going through trials we would never succeed or feel accomplished. I am a Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ came to a 14 year old boy, Joseph Smith, because he was humble enough ask God for help. I know that when we ask for help God always answers our prayers. It may not be the answer we want or the way we thought we would receive it. I know God works in mysterious ways especially through other people. We are all instruments in God's hands and we need to live worthy to feel the Holy Spirit. Living worthy blesses not only us and our posterity but also people around us. I am a Mormon because I know I will live with God again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best everyday to be better than the day before. I try to be an example and serve those around me. I am not perfect, I make mistakes, but I continually try to improve my relationship with my Heavenly Father.
