Hi I'm Mikaela

I'm from California. I'm a student at BYU and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Connecticut, I call California my home, and I'm currently in Utah studying elementary education at BYU. My husband and I are preparing for a study abroad in Jordan and we hope to live in the Middle East some day. I love being outside, going on adventures, and spending time with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both Mormons and I have grown up in this church my whole life. As a child I learned about Jesus Christ and stories from the Bible and I believed what was taught. It wasn't until I was a teenager that I really leaned for myself that this church is true. Through scripture study, youth activities, and personal prayer I learned for myself that this really is the true church. I know that we have a Savior and he wants us to return to him. I know that families can be together forever and this brings me so much peace. I know that we have a Father in Heaven and he knows us better than we know ourselves, and he loves us more than we could ever comprehend.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being happy and sharing the gospel through my example. I try to read scriptures and pray everyday so I can grow closer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am currently serving as a ward missionary in Provo, UT. I fellowship members of our church and try to help others come closer our Savior. I also teach members how they can help share the gospel.
